Historical Renovations
MacMurray House
Shortly after his purchase of the Porter Family Ranch in 1941, Fred MacMurray undertook an extensive renovation of the historic Porter Homes. The Gallo Family purchased the property in 1996 and shortly thereafter, began a multi-year renovation of MacMurray Ranch with an eye toward honoring its history, preserving its buildings, and reinstating its spirit.
Oliveto Building
Having survived the 1906 earthquake, the Oliveto Building has remained connected to the Sonoma County wine industry since its construction in 1902. The Gallo Family acquired the Healdsburg property in the late 1990’s and utilized the facilities for bulk wine storage until the structure was eventually closed due to disrepair. In 2010, the Family began renovating the building and by 2012 had transformed the structure into a modern office space while preserving the historic character and look of the original building.
Louis M. Martini Winery
Built in 1933, the Louis M. Martini Winery was one of the first to open following the repeal of prohibition. Ownership of the historic winery transferred from one legendary California wine family to another when it was purchased by the Gallo Family in 2002. Following the purchase, the Gallo Family embarked on a restoration effort that would span fifteen years and culminated with the successful preservation of the ninety-year-old Napa icon.
